Azor says he’d like to bring the DGFF format to future Alienware and Dell G series gaming laptops, which would, in turn, create a larger market for the graphics boards, but he may not be able to justify that either: If customers don’t show demand for it, it’ll be a novelty and then it’ll fade away,” he admits. But the interest could also come from other PC makers — Azor says he’s willing to sit down and talk with Dell’s competitors about the possibility of letting them use DGFF cards, too.

This can often be the case when something is spilled on the laptop’s keyboard, damaging part of its circuit board. You will likely need to replace the laptop’s keyboard; if you’re not comfortable disassembling your laptop, you’ll need to take it in for repair. In the meantime, you can hook up a standard USB or Bluetooth keyboard to use externally with your laptop.
For $50 more, the ASUS N61Jv-X2 comes with a discrete Nvidia GeForce GT325M GPU card and a full gigabyte of video memory. The difference in graphics performance is pretty striking. The N61 scored 5,997 on 3DMark06, more than 2,300 points higher than the Studio 15. And while the Studio 15 achieved max frame rates of 110 fps and 54 fps in World of Warcraft and Far Cry 2, the N61 made it all the way to 223 fps in World of Warcraft (oddly, it peaked at 33 fps for Far Cry 2).

Dell sponsored a study by Arizona State University’s Global Sustainability Solutions Services to determine if the information and communications technology (ICT) industry would play a critical role in achieving the SDGs. If so, the study also aimed to identify a meaningful way to measure the impact. The study concluded that the ICT industry will be an enabler and accelerator of SDG solutions. However, the lack of available data at the SDG indicator level and country level makes it challenging to conduct rigorous assessments on the industry’s potential impact. Further research is needed to bridge this gap. The study’s main outcome was the development of the ICT-SDG Impact Assessment Framework , which will help organizations in the ICT industry to strategically map their efforts to the SDGs.
Aesthetically, the XPS 15 is every bit the MacBook Pro’s equal. Although it eschews the MacBook Pro’s smooth minimalism in favour of angular lines, black detailing and the signature carbon fibre-effect keyboard surround, it’s just as attractive; which one you go for is pretty much up to your personal preference. They’re both sturdy and well-built too, so longevity shouldn’t be an issue.
Vava’s VA-UC006 USB-C Hub is the best way to add the widest array and greatest number of ports to your USB-C-based computer in a highly portable and durable package. It has all the right connections—three USB-A ports, USB-C power passthrough, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, and microSD and SD card slots—to be handy on the go, or even to act as a semipermanent desk accessory. Nothing else comes close to offering the same combination of performance, design, and price.
You get similar specs in the MSI GL63 8RD with a slightly better display, and also in the ASUS FX504. But we haven’t tested them, so can’t vouch for them. What we can vouch for, however, is that the Dell G5 is a good gaming laptop for the price. Of course, I wouldn’t recommend it to any content creators. This is just for gamers, who are looking for a good unit under Rs. 150,000.
